Approving Marketo Custom Activities | Navless Product Documentation
The documentation explains that Marketo admins must approve two Tourial-specific custom activities—Tourial Content View and Tourial View—within the Marketo Admin Custom Activities section before they can be used, and after approval, users must re-enable Engagement Activities in the Tourial app’s Marketo settings to resume sending engagement data.
Why is this important?
Marketo follows an approval process for all changes made within the Marketo Instance. The Tourial application submits a request to your Marketo instance for Custom Activities to be added. A Marketo admin must go in and approve those activities before they can be utilized.
Step 1: Review & Approve Updates in Marketo
- 1.
In Admin, select Custom Activities in the left side menu or main screen.
- 2.
On the right-hand side, you should see two Tourial-specific custom activities named Tourial Content View and Tourial View.
Note: Tourial Content View is specific to Tour Centers and Tourial View is specific to individual tours.
- Select the custom activity named Tourial Content View. Then, with that selected, click the Custom Activity Actions dropdown and select Approve Activity.
- Next, select the custom activity named Tourial View and repeat the same approval steps as the Tourial Content View activity.
Please note: some customers may not need to re-approve the Tourial View custom activity. If the Tourial View custom activity is not showing an approval is needed (State: Approval with Draft), then no action is required.
Step 2: Re-enable Engagement Activity in Tourial
Once you've successfully re-approved the Custom Activities in Marketo, you'll need to go to the Marketo settings page inside the Tourial app and re-enable Engagement Activities for Marketo.
This must be done before engagement activity can begin sending again to Marketo.
You're all set!
If you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance related to these updates, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Form Fails | Navless Product Documentation
Navless' Tourial sends email alerts to admins only for three specific form submission failures—Blocked Email, CAPTCHA enabled on HubSpot forms, and missing required fields—when using the HubSpot integration, while Marketo and Pardot users do not receive such alerts, and issues with field mismatches between Tourial and HubSpot forms can cause submission failures with internal notifications handled differently across integrations.
How to Create a Pardot Dashboard to Measure Tourial's Impact
The guide explains how to create a Pardot dashboard to measure Tourial's impact by first setting up a dynamic list that segments contacts who engaged with Tourials using specific filters (e.g., last Tourial viewed, company exclusion, session date, lifecycle stage), and then building reports such as a bar chart showing Tourial views by lifecycle stage over time to analyze engagement across marketing and sales stages.
